Talking NO JOKE!! I swear I chirped 2nd in Auto.

I was driving to the Mall and we have those famous two lane lights that merge into one lane after so we always get some ballsy mofo who wants to pass every one. Not me, though.

I was in auto and gunned it. The car takes off beautifully and right as it hit second I heard my left front tire chirp. Even my fiancee heard it. My tires are only 6 mos. old up there so I don't think I am losing tread. It was pretty cool. Anyone else have it happen?

I'm running on stock and I can peel out on auto. I guess the tires suck or the car has some power.

i know its not a TL but My TBird used to do that... if I took off or floored it so it would down shift to 1st... when it shifted under full throttle from 1st-2nd i would get a few second chirp...
I learned NOT to floor it at a low speed on wet roads cuz my ass end would come around ... I'm going to miss RWD in some aspects, but winterdriving i wont... I'm gon' love the TL's front with TC

the tiniest bump will cause me to chirp second, I don't remember doing it before on a perfectly flat road. you're gearing is way different than mine though.

No I am not dreaming, the road was flat. Jason it was right where Strawberry Hill Ave merges into one lane about 100 yds from the High School going downtown. By the new Hospital. Check it out. Freshly paved, flat road.

Nice flat pavement eh?? Where it merges into one lane eh? Maybe your tire slipped on one of those painted arrows on the road..

If you really want us to believe you Adam, we will. Really.

NO RAIN!! NO PAINT!! NO BUMPS!! NO SQUIRREL CARCUSSES!! NOTHING!!

AAARRRGHHHHHH!!

Don't worry, it's OK to be jealous of me. Most people are. Must be the FirePepper.

I do know that if the pavement contains dolemite, it is slightly more shiny and can be slick.
Doubt it had it though.
