as of now i have15% llumar tint on the back windows and rear window, becouse nj law says you cannot haveANY tint on the front windows. and im getting soo sick of shofur look i want at least something on my windows but im not sure what i can get awa with. 50% maybee? im not topicky on how dark it is. i might just do 35% on the back and 50% front. people of nj what do u have? any trouble with cops?

50% is basically nothing and you would be wasting your money if you wanted tints and not be as noticeable 35% would be my best bet. i have 15% on everything except the windshield and i havent been hassled that much lately.

I just tinted all 4. Its a pain in the ass to find someone to pass me when inspection time rolls around, and when I used to drive the car everywhere the cops would always fuck with me. I musta gotten probably like 5-6 tickets at like $44/pop. Most of those were in highland park...but I hate the look of just the rear windows being tinted ....

damn.. i have limo tints @ the back 5% all around... fronts are 35% (which is the legal limit here in canada) ... and i still hate it cuz i've seen ppl drive around with much darker front tints.. oh well i guess it avoids teh cops.. even the last time i was pulled over... the cop tried to tell me how my tints were illegal.. i gave it back to her by teliln her the % and she shut her mouth....

i hate cops. .and i can see how its an issue since someone might pull a gun on them and shit ..

yea i got mine at highland park. they were inspecting cars and they caught me.
i got pulled over couple times but that was my first ticket.
it was $55...

I am so glad we don't get inspected here in CO. There are tons of folks runnin around with 5% all around and 35% on front windshields....that's a bit much but damn if it don't look good. Bright sunlight and still can't see in. I'm debating doing 5% all around since I have the sunroof and bright tan interior. My 20% is not as dark as I hoped. I may just retint my rear window at 5% and that should darken things up.

windows from the junk yard untinted, when inspection time comes pull tinted windows out and slap in un-tinted windows

thats a great idea but im more worried about cops pullin me over than inspection, next one isnt for 2 years and worts comes to worst i just pay to have it removed for inspection. or do fsttyms1's idea

Its illegal to not have a front license plate here and to have more than 50% window tint here, but i still dont follow the rules. Never have, never will

lol u rebel i guess i could do it. but then i would be paranoid every time i see a cop owell maybee they will change the law sometime soon

eh those tint tickets are real cheap i just got tagged with a $136 one. my tints might have to come off to beat this one

on my old car (2000 maxima) i had 5% on my back windows and 35% on my front 2. i had it for about 6 months before selling the car and i only got pulled over once and let go with no hassle. its my belief that as long as they can see you they wont bother you. i wouldnt go darker than 35 if you dont wanna risk it... otherwise id say match the percentage all the way around.

LOL thats funny. I have 18% and have had it for more than a year, almost as long as I had my car. On all windows cept the windshield. Around here, its a very wealthy community, anyone in NC will know Mooresville is very wealthy alot of people living in lake houses etc. ANYWAYS....There are alot of expensive cars here with very dark tints and MILFS in Suburbans with very dark tints and Gramps in his Buick with very dark Tints. Basically, Everyone has tints on there front windows lol so the cops cant do nothing cause then they will be stopping like every 3rd car they see, literally. And at first when I got my tints I put the windows down when I saw a copper but now I dont and I notice how many people have super dark tint and even darker than mine so I know im safe.
