I'd go with a NOS wet system single fogger(or direct-port if you have the $$$). They have more potential than a typical dey system.

I'd go with direct port also. Thats' why I decided to sell my ZEX. IF I were to get nitrous, I'd get direct port or a wet system.

If you don't care about your warranty, then go direct port (wet) but if you still want your warranty, I'd go with a nice 75 Shot dry kit because you can always put it back to stock if something goes wrong (not that you'd want that)
plus the price is right, what mod can you get an instant 75HP's for around $500??

Your trans should be fine as long as you don't abuse the power. I'd invest in a good tranny cooler though.

Well, thanks for everyones input...I've decided to go with NOS 55-75 shot(dry)import kit #05123. I talked to a tech at NOS and he suggested this kit for the TL and said its much safer than ZEX.

I have a zex kit, but i'm thinking about changing to the NX. Sure it dropped my time 1.3 sec. but i expected a little more than that. I heard good things about NX so i might try it

Thumbs down NOS=FLAMED TRANNY!

i wanted to get nos, and after speaking to many qualified individuals outside the box as well as acura. the bottom line is that our TL's are sedan's. they are not race cars, and as much as we want to extract the most hp / torque for power and speed , there is only so much the car can handle from an engineering standpoint. acura tranny's are burning up all over with out mods and they can't handle the power they have from the factory as it is! nos is also an instant boost of horsepower as opposed to getting it across the whole rpm band. your "jolting" your car/ transmission with this huge shot of power and torque in an instant! as it was told to me, you may not burn up your tranny right away, but eventually you will! wait for the RES and the MM2 and be happy! hope this helps... kman

Exclamation nos flames your tranny!

the RES " resonance enhancement system" is in developement and finalization. bitium has posted many on this topic , do a search for res and you will find out all about the the res and what is expected...as far as cost, alot less than juan gonzalez ! :-) $300.00 U.S. it will not be available for 1999 tl's for awhile from what i understand :-( i hope they make it for us 99'rs , peace, kman
