If the current generation is from the '99 model year with an '02 makeover and the addition of the "S", when is this generation's lifespan over? Has anybody read anything in the car mags?

Just wondering 'cause I kinda came in late on my last car, a '98 Mustang. In '99, the bodystyle changed.

 

Well the next major redesign is due in 2004 I believe...
