This was in todays (Nov. 20th) Issue of the Star Ledger, a New Jersey newspaper. A Good Read

The weird part is it's not happening down here in Southern Jersey. (Knock on wood)

I hope that this article doesn't give more people ideas about stealing lights.

Holy ****! Did I read that wrong or did they say it cost 3500$ for replacement lights?

Does that sound right?

Man, I would love to catch someone stealing my lights. They would receive a grade 'A' a$$ whiping! I back into parking spots at the movies and/or the mall and even any place where it is dimly lite. I couldn't even imagine getting in my car one night, turning the light switch and not seeing that popping blue light appear....

That includes the bumper and all the crap they broke to get to the lights.

Same here! I always back in spots, that way i can see the front as i walk to my car.
I think it might deter someone if the front of the car is facing out.

Is it really that easy? It would take a good amount of time for someone to steal the bulbs, ballast and harness wouln't it?

They're not going to do anything about it because Honda is making a killing off of it.

Well I don't think its happen in this area at least not yet. I will ask the service people when I go to pick up my car from the dealer tomorow. I hope my baby is alright out there it may be parked inside. I am getting warranty repairs done on it now & my Clifford Alarm is put in the Valet mode.

Man... I think we should block this thread simply because someone else (thieves) may come into our site, read this article, learns and make attempts in perform such crime... and till then... no one will any longer feel secure about their properties (OUR XENONS!!!).
Tho I will definitely blast their heads off if I catch any of them @sshos, but I have not yet heard much of such crime in So. Cal and I hope we can keep it this way.

WTF!

I have been in, parked at, or driven through all those towns that was mentioned. It is so sad that we have to be so paranoid about our cars.
