Newbie here in need of help before purchasing a TL!
Hi guts first off i want to say hi to my new family! I have been a part of the acura legend forums for years but i decided to buy a 2003 type-s!
the deal is almost complete, i just have to go sign some papers tomorrow!!!!
I have 2 questions and yes i looked and searched!!!!!
1. i noticed that the type s has the vsa button, while a normal TL has tcs......what are the main differences?? When the vsa button is pressed, is it normal for that yellow warning light to come on???
2. when putting car in reverse, the side mirrors rotate downwards....are both of them suppose to rotate?? i only seen the passenger one do it?
thanx a lot and i look forward to contributing here! Hopefully these are normal issues and my looong search will be over with!!!!!!!!!!!

You might want to checkif the TL is covered by the 7 year/100,000 mile extended warranty on the transmission. Every 1999-2002 TL has this coverage but some 2003 TLs are not covered. This is based on the VIN number.
If it's not covered you might be able to negotiate a lower price.

DRINKING HAS A ME PROBLEM
TCS is traction control. when you accelerate it help your tires from spining faster than your moving. and VSA vehical stability control. it helps control the car during turning braking

If you want to turn off your mirror parking assist, move the power mirror selcection switch to the left or right mirror instead of in the center. It is also useful if you need your mirror up when backing.

I do not know. Mine's a 2003 tl-s. Put the mirror selector switch in the middle poisition and put your car into reverse. If your passenger mirror tilts, you have it.

IMHO I think you are better off without the Navi. Just go out and get a full double DIN Navi from Eclipse or Alpine and have a better radio and Navi. Plus, it will be more up to date than ours even with the new update disc (yes, I was disappointed).
