Newbie enjoying his TL-S ^_^

I've been lurking around this board since June and have finally logged in to be able to post.

Bought my TL-S late July and am VERY happy with the purchase. Was going back and forth between the IS 300, BMW 330I and this. But i feel i made the best choice for my money. Thank you Board!!

So now....hmmm...wheres the best place in Southern Cal to get the comptech headers installed. St. Andre's in westminster/orange was quoting me $180. Anyone else know decent places?

Have to say though..i joined the cracked foglight club in only 1000 miles. *sigh* Whats up with that? Will 3M really help prevent that sort of thing?

Mostly a Non-Believer...but totally believin' in the TL-S.

$180 sounds like a good price and St Andres was recommended to me by Comptech for my sways, which I ended up installing myself. I am thinking about headers and might install those, also. Good luck

The headlight kit from Xpel will have pieces for your fog lights and yes the kit is supposed to keep that from happening. They have a 4 year breakage guarantee .

Thanks for the welcome everyone. Good to see the CL-S people on here......in fact...my college bud that recommended myself and other friend take a look at the TL-S happens to have a CL-S. Without him..i'd still have been looking at the IS and 330i as my only options. Lets show the love!!

lonny, have u been to any southern cal meets? We actually have the exact same car (color/nav)...sans the sways. So if you ever do anything aesthetic to your car.....i know where to look to know how it'll look on mine.

Bricot...as for the Xpel kit.....is that just the lamp...or diff bulb as well? What site can i find addt'l info on it and how it looks...price, etc. 4 year breakage guarantee sounds good.

Sly, Do you have any pictures of your car? You've done a lot to your car...i'd like to check it out.

Unhappy

No, I have yet to attend a meet. Always seem to have something else planned. One of these days, I hope.

You can go to their site xpel.com, it explains the guarantee, etc.
