Hey guys im new to the board and i just got a 02 Silver Type-S

i was wondering what size the bulbs are for the front turn signals...i know the headlights/fogs are 9006...but i dont know what the turn signal bulbs are

can some1 let me know soon please cause im going to get bulbs tomorrow

also if any1 else replies to this....do u guys thing it would look stupid to get blue or white front turn signals witouth clearing out the headlight?

and 1 last question:
what do u guys recommend for 1156 bulbs...any specific brands or anything like that?

 

The front turn signal lights are 1157 not 1156.

Personally, I wouldn't put anything except amber in the front turn signal. You are asking for trouble.

 

I wouldn't put blue (hyperwhites) in unless you clear out your front headlights. You wont see the blue haze that you do with cleared out lights. Also its still going to look amber with that reflector there.

IMO clear then lights, just my .02

 

Sorry, it was either 1157 or 1156. I always get it mixed up. I got those chrome amber apc ones for the front turn signals.

 

yeah i realized without clearing the headlight chaning the bulb wouldnt do anything...so im actually going to get 9006 Hyperyellow lights for the fog lights...like the IS 300...i was thinking of putting blue for the fogs but 1)lots of ppl do that and 2)i think the HID's would make the blue look bad anyway

i wanna make sure the fogs are 9006...and what do u guys think of the yellow bulbs for the fogs on a silver TL?

 

the fogs are 9006, i've tried so many colors down there hahah purple, blue, yellow... a few brands as well. the best yellow are from these crappy bulbs on ebay... they last from 1wk to 3 or 4 months. i only tried two sets... didnt want to waste more money. The ones that lasted teh longest were the max gold bulbs... i think 6 months until I went into a really bad winter + condensation got inside the housing.

well actually tomorrow imma go 2 the mall...theres this car store that has a shitload of bulbs....if they dont have it ill look online and give u some links...thanks bro
