New toy

First off, I apologize if in the wrong section. Feel free to move wherever necessary.

So, after my Tein SS install this past weekend, I realized a need for a lower-profile floor jack than the one I already have. So I picked this up at Northern Tool today:

This thing is sweet as far as man toys go. All aluminum, fairly light, good stroke, and not bad looking in the garage. Got me thinking - what is everyone else using as a "lift device?"

I have a 40 dollar wal-mart bought jack. It suck s balls, and is heavier then a wet dog, but it gets the car up and thats all I care about, and it came with jack stands.

Nice pick up. I am on H&R sports with a lip kit and I can't even get my jack under the car. I probably will pick one up too. Those lower profile jacks are usually way more expensive than regular jacks.

Only $99.99. There are nicer and more expensive, but this does the trick very well - made final height adjustments to the drop today and will get her aligned this week. No clearance issues whatsoever.

i know that, but why make a post about buyin a REGULAR JACK, if it had sum digit number readings then yes it would be ok, rememeber people get blasted for making threads just wanted to find info.......this is just a waiste of thread.....i know people dont lift their car with hands and we all have TL'z so we shouldnt really use sissor jacks unless its our only choice, but nice Hydro ones.........just being honest......i thought i was gonna see some sort of new exclusive part.........got me hyped for no reason........

thanks for the compliment, priced vary with the swap. Ive only spent about 2700 and Im almost done. All together ill be at 3000 and driving. But some guys have done it for way more like close to 6 grand. Its all about getting lucky and finding shit for cheap.

When all is said and done I will write a nice DIY. I promise.

Man - I'm jacking all kinds of shit around here. Looking for what's next...

JDM Inspired - How am I to blame for your premature excited-ness - it's not my fault you thought you were going to read something else. Stop wasting responses to threads you care little about.

Nah - I'm not trying to be a prick either.

The JACK is cool though. If anybody has a special request, I could install a digital readout somewhere to make it more interesting.
