Post New TL Type S

Hello everyone,
I'm obviously new to the forum, and am looking for your opinions/advice about the TL Type S. My idea of a great car is one that looks a little understated, but has super acceleration, brakes, and handling (what used to be known as a "sleeper"). My last car that fit this category was an old Taurus SHO - it looked more or less like a family sedan, but would really wail when you wanted it to. The TL Type S seems to be about the only affordable replacement for the SHO that I've seen (with much better quality, engineering refinement, ride comfort, of course). Do you all think it'd be a good choice for me (I sure like everything I've heard about it, both here and elsewhere)?

I would say go see Red Hot's TL. He'll tell u how good the Acura TL is. You won't find any better quality for the price. The TL Type S should be that much better. It will be a "SLEEPER", unless everyone lets out the good news!

If I could have waited for the TL-S, I would have. I love my TL and with mods can be equal in power...

The TL-S seems to be exactly what you're looking for: understated looks (some would say boring), luxury features, good build quality, capable of hauling four people in comfort, and capable of hauling ass when required.

Do like I did--go test drive a CL-S to get a feel for the power and handling...then imagine it with four doors.

Thanks a lot for your thoughts and recommendations. I believe I will test drive a CL-S before the new TL-S finally arrives at the dealers. By the way, you guys have some great looking cars.

Thanks again.
