I just visited the Acura dealer today and saw both the 2002 TL and TL-s. After seeing the bowling ball interior in the black interior, this has really grown on me, and I think I prefer it to the wood colour as it does not stand out and blends nicely with the interior colour. I wonder how this car in canadian funds is worth $4000.00 more than the TL. Are these the only differences or are rhere more?

2) Perf seats, shifter with that cool Type-s badge, also perforated, Perf. steering wheel.

If you read last month's car and driver, it has a one page article on the TL-S. It details all the things that are different on the Type S vs. the normal TL. There definitely are enough things to warrant the extra 3k. Namely the beefier suspension, beefier transmission, completely different steering, different exhaust. Cool Type S badge. The other changes are cosmetic and wouldn't really warrant any extra costs.
