Just wanted to say hi to all the az'rs out there...just purchased a 99 tl and i'm loving it. used to have a 98 gs400, but it was too boring. well, now to the post at hand:

i saw diy thread about clearing out your headlights-now, is it possible to do the same thing with the 99 tail lights? i wanna take the orange out and clear it out. thanks all!

 

congrats!!! you can replace the 99-01 lights with the 02-03 that would get rid of the orange on the lights.

 

Welcome to the forum man. I got a '99 too. Well if he bought a 02-03 tail lights, it wouldn't be a DIY though.

 

but it is an option. lol

 

just get the 02-03 lights...can buy them from some sites people know very well...but i'd prefer the 99-01 lights...the orange looks better for my opinion atleast..i dont like the 02-03 lights for some reason
