Wow... very interesting.. Might clear up a lot of the complaints about brake vibration on the TL. I know for sure now that there is a slight possibility of premature brakepad sploching on the TL-s.

So the question... is the mechanic in charge of prepping your car also responsible for bedding-in your pads? The article made it sound like you might have to spend a good 15-20 minutes bedding brake pads on each car. Or is the sales person supposed to inform you of the proceedure...?

I have 2 questions, I live in LA, just a few miles from your shop. Anyway, where in the area can you suggest that I go to do the bed-in process? Seems like my only alternative is the freeway at 3 in the morning to avoid traffic. Second, I just installed new Coleman racing rotors, and Wilwood polymatrix pads on my Wilwood 6 piston calipers, should I use the racing bed-in procedure?

Thanks.

Find somewhere safe to do your bed in process.

Race pad bed in procedure is meant for race pads which need high temperatures like on the track to operate correctly. Race pads will just eat up your rotors if you only use them on the street since the temperatures never get hot enough to make the best of them.
