hello my brothers and sister's just got a 2000 tl with 79,000 mile filled up the tank and only got 278 miles filled up in atlantic city and drove all the way to the bronx, and now one day later driving it around the city it gave me 278.8 miles to the tank is that good or is that bad. i do not know exactly whats been done to the car but i will be checking the spark plugs to see how they look, other wise i love the way this car feels.

Lil bit low...I get around 340miles, but I go really low on the gas. 340 miles is freeway and city. Check the seafoam thread.

im getting 260-280 on a full tank. i think its because of my trans is slipping badly. if i drive like a grandma or like an asshole i still get the same mileage.

I usually get over 300, and that includes city driving and highway driving where I mash the pedal at times (I can picture the imaginary fuel effiency gauge going from 28mpg to 9mpg at that point).

I get a lil over 400 before the low fuel indicator comes on.

-Check/change oil
-Check/change transmisson fluid
-Check/replace air filter
-Check tire pressure, tire condition
-Check alignment
-Seafoam treatment
-Check/replace spark plugs

A well maintained, fresh fluid/filters car will achieve much better gas mileage than one that is overdue on basic maintence.

First of of all welcome to AZ the best site for Acura information around. I litterally just made a thread about gas mileage. https://acurazine.com/forums/showthread.php?t=182165

As far as seafoam its an engine cleaner. Here are pages of great information you will ever need to know about it.

Enjoy your new ride.
