Post New remotes

I was wondering whether the dealer can program a new remote for our TLs. They look really nice and I'm sick of having the same looking remote as my roommate's gf who has a honda civic. And if they can do it, anyone know how much?

I know what you mean, the only difference ours is from Hondas is that they say Acura on them.. hehe..
Seems like they should be able to reprogram any remote... it would be like if you lost your remote and needed a new one right??

I think AcuraTL changes his keys every 2 months or something like that.. he would be the one to ask.

What? I don't change my keys every 2 months. The MDX remote is a silver looking one, pretty neat. I don't know if the dealer can program the remote, I am sure they can because what would happen if you lose all your remotes?

Dude, My bad... I'm trippin!

I know I read it somewhere about someone not letting water get onto your remote or something like that.. for some reason I thought that was your post.. I think cuz you both have the same avatar.

I think all Honda/Acura remotes are more less interchangeable.

There's also no need to go to the dealer to get remotes reprogrammed. Click on the link below to view directions on how to do this yourself.

Question

I was wondering if you guys have the sam problem? I usually have to press my remote like 5 times just to lock my doors. I dont think the internal battery is low because I can still see the red dot at the top go off each time I press the button. How long is the alarm suppose to last before you get it replace. (I know there's two remote, haven't tried to used the spare) I just check before I switch my remote.
