The Blue LED's do look pretty cool...and you're right Kris, it would go perfectly with your indiglo's. I wonder if you can trade in your old 8500 model for the X50 and pay a bit more.

Just called Passport and they have no trade-in policy to buy back your old Escort 8500 and get credit to get the X50. 
.. so looks like your gonna need to buy another 8500 for an update..

My dad just ordered the X50..so I will be doing a comparison test between the old 8500 model, X50 model, and the V1. I will report back with the results...
