Hello there Acura TL folk,
My name is Jorge and I live in the central Fl. Orlando area. I bought a 2002 TL-S in Nov. of 2002 and since then have put a lot of mods into it. I would like to introduce it on this website.
I've had my car at Velocity Resources(same people that have worked on Austins car-**********) here in Apopka and they have done a marvelous job, truly great people. Here is a list of the mods that they have performed on my car:
Comptech equipment:
Headers, axle-back, front and rear springs + sways, strut bar. Last July V.R. finally installed the Comptech blower and a month later put on the upgrade boost pulley. They also put on a Random Technologies high-flow metal core cat and a Comptech trans cooler. I've also put 235/45 17 Mich. pilot sports on the car.
I've had a bit of fun with the car. It performs and handles great!! I usually take my car to the track maybe 1 or 2 times per month. On one of my last visits the car did 14.089 at 74 degrees. I was there again this past Saturday night(Nov.2) and I got a best of 14.06 with 68 degrees. The track is in Bithlo Florida, it would be great to see other TL /CL/ TL-S' out there. I would also be interested in perhaps doing an auto-cross event some time? I'm looking to upgrade my tranny(right now the car has 28,000 miles and so far no problems-thank God). I've ordered the B-pipe for the car and V.R. is looking to do a intercooler / boost increase project.
Thanks again'
from a very happy TL-S owner

Welcome aboard, Jorge!
Nice mods and nice list. Velocity does great work and without a dealer doing s/c stuff here in Florida, they will likely be my choice for further work as well!
Now, the real questions are: Where in the h=ll is Biltho? How late in the year is their track open? Gainesville only has three weeks left and I was hoping to get another run or two in before January...Congrats on those times! I'm sure 13's are coming for you!
