Thumbs up New member!

Hey guys (and gals)! Just got my 2002 TLS the other day and found this forum site and love it. Every question that I have or had has been answered by you guys. Such a relief to know that someone else has already noticed things about the TLS that aren't exactly perfect. Great car though, my new baby, that is always covered and garaged and washed once a week.

Keep up the good info, I look forward to reading more.

Also, anyone in my area (Monterey/Carmel), CA?

Look for me this weekend, first roadtrip down to SO. CAL. I've got black on black TLS, factory underbody kit, factory spoiler, and I'll be driving fast..........GSB

Hey... welcome to the board!!

Oh and don't drive too fast until you break it in... your car will thank you in the long run.

Also, be careful on here... this site has an addicting habit of making you spend money on modifications!!

Congratulations! And may I suggest you purchase a radar detector for your new baby?

I'm not very sure where Carmel is located... what's the nearest "big" city? San Francisco? Anyway, if you're in the Bay Area there are a ton of TL/CL folks out there having meets.

Later,

V.

Congrats on the new car, hope it works well for you!!! I live in Scotts Valley just outside of Santa Cruz, which isn't to far from Carmel. I used to live in Carmel Valley when I was a kid so I know your area well. Did you buy your car in Seaside? If so how do you like the dealership? I'm looking for a good place to take it for warranty work. I bought mine in Los Gatos and I wouldn't step foot back in that place so I'm looking for a better dealership.

JimJ-
Actually I bought from Acura sunnyvale, got a deal on one of their 2002 demos with 3k miles. I was very happy with their dealership, employees, etc. but haven't taken it their for any service yet, so I don't have an answer on that note...

Can anyone recommend what oil to use in my TLS? Oil changes every 3k miles?
