Hey guys...

I am currently very grateful to have my bodyshop to offer me a new paint job for my ride.

It's a J30A1 SuperCharged Accord Coupe 1999.
Original Colour was Metallic Satin Silver
And currently ChampionShip White from the Integra TypeR.

Now I get to choose something slightly different...

I was wanting to keep White...but what kind?

Grand Prix White from S2000?
Lexus IS250 White, not the Pearl one but the new White/All White.

Any pics of other vehicles would help me...

White Diamond Pearl (Honda/Acura) or the Mercedes-Benz white is a hot paint too (it's not pearl). I just checked the MB website, and they have two whites. One is called Alabaster white, and the other one is a special design white paint called Designo Mystic. I believe I saw an S class in Designo Mystic and I said to myself, "WOW!"

 

On second thought, it does look a little bit pearlish or metallic. Check it out:

 

I would look at the MB or BMW whites before anything else.

 

Post pics of the first 2 colors so we can get a better feel for your ride, btw Championship White FTW!! I gotta see that

 

I like a nice dark red color - like FPR, but a lil darker...with some gunmetal rims ohhhh baby...but let's see some pics of your ride first...

 

Wow...the MB looks really good. It's always hard to see the colour until in person. LOL...

Championship White FTW??? LOL...yeah, I sorta like the JDM factor, even though its not entirely.

Oh wow, it's a show car? Looks hot! That probably means you would spend the $ on the MB paint. Trust me, you will love it. Try to check it out at a local MB dealership. One characteristic of the paint that really stood out to me was how white it actually is. My WDP has a yellowish tinge, but the MB white was pure and clean!

 

im fan of the white on the new lexus GS. MB white is cool but im used to seeing that shit everyday. what do u think of the escalade white? those are the only whites that really stand out to me besides WDP

 

Yeah the Lexus white is pretty hot too. But Kev, I don't know that you've seen the special edition MB white. Probably just their regular Alabaster white color.

Also, with the Lexus paint is nice too, IS 250, but for me I don't want the Pearl (green/purplely) colour...but more of a Pure White. Yet not like a bottle of white-out.

Probably gonna push for more clear coat to bring out the shine.

Forgot to mention...the White Paint I choose must match with system/white/grey theme.

Showcar??? LOL...nah...my car is for driving first...
I drive my car everywhere...up mountains and down, among the city. Rock chips like crazy. However, I display my vehicle with my sponsored cooperate companies when shows/trophies are there.
