Post New Forum Special Pricing

Hello all. I have decided to make a special forum, Acura-TL MVC (Most Valued Customers). Its a password protected forum that has links with special pricing.

Most members know how hard I work for TL members and buy all their parts from me, which in return supports this site that we all love. On the other hand, there are members who have no clue who I am, or what I do, and they could care less where they buy from, as long as it is the cheapest. These people do not support this site.

So I want to give back to those supporters.

What is an "Acura-TL MVC (Most Valued Customer)"? I'll decide, but pretty much a customer that buys all the parts that I sell here, and that is pretty much all of you. I would say 90% of the members shop here and here only. But it is NOT for the customer that has a list of Comptech parts they bought from their dealer and a set of spark plugs from me. And its not for the customer that bought those H&R springs or those TL-S Tail Lights for $10 cheaper just because these people are not helping to support this site.

I am sorry if this seems harsh to you, but I put a lot into this site. Like how I spend the time with a member, back and forth emailing him all the answers on the mods and what they do, digging up dynos and specs. Literally spending hours, to have them buy all their parts at a Big Acura Dealer. That, my friends, is a slap in the face.

But the members that keep coming back, the ones who have spent their money here, to those members I will give you a password to get special low prices on parts. Email me your screen name, and the parts you have ordered from me (order # if you still have it) and I will return your email.

Email only info@acura-tl.com

To those members, this is my way of thanking you!

Goes to show how much I've ordered so far...
Just keep in mind a lot of people are more comfortable buying from an authorized acura dealer... than from the web...

Because the members make this site, not me...
...and if I were to order anything car related I'd first consider you... as would a lot of other members...

Hi Snook,
You have a great web site and I appreciate it. E-commerce is tough (look at all the dot commers who havent made it). I'll try to do business with you when I need to buy.

One suggestion I have is to set up a forum or infomation link for installers. The only reason I purchased my springs and sways from another store was that they included the install.

Peolpe on this site are always looking for installers and if you could sell your parts and hook them up with an installer, I think more people would buy from you.

Personally, I would not buy anything from my local dealers unless it was cheap (like my cupholder insert). Good luck.

Snook:

The story of every person in sales...you spent your valuable time answering questions for a customer, who only turns around with the knowledge you've just shared with them and buy from some other place who undercuts you by a couple of dollars. But it is a part of every business, and at the end of the day, you will hopefully have earned some very loyal customers.

I have not and don't have any plans to mod my TL, so getting parts cheap is not really an issue for me. But I just wanted to say, that as one who does not "support you and this site" that I do appreciate the great efforts you expend in creating this great forum.

I can understand the frustration but what you can do to prevent it is simply offer the best price guarantee... don't get me wrong but if I can save my money why shouldn't I...
