New brakes - break-in?

New brakes - break-in?

I just replaced my front rotors (OE replacement from O'Reilly auto parts) and Wagner ThermoQuiet ceramic pads all around. Dealer had said my

Everything went together like a champ. (Car has 98K on it, and I hope to be trading soon, so I didn't pop for anything expensive.)

How long do I have to take it easy on 'em before I start my 60-0 testing?

most people say 500 miles...

i started slamming on the brakes once i got my second tank of gas. so i would say about a good 300-400 miles. i love the feel of fresh new rotors and pads!

around 500 miles or so. then bed the pads in not before.
just take it easy for awhile
