New to the Acura World.
Thought i would introduce my self. My name is Shaun and i live in Scarborough Ontario. for awhile now ive been lurking ur forum getting valuable info and now im an official member.
I recently purchased a 2002 Acura TL TypeS w 155kms about a month now. This car was bought for my wife as i drive a 2003 Chrysler 300M Special. Both, i feel are very good cars in its own respect. One of the first things that i did to the car is the tranny fluid change (seeing how terrible the trannys are on the TLs) next is Seafoam in the gas tank, engine oil and Vacuum then switch over to Mobile1. Timing belt/water pump is next on the list. But i really have to change the brakes due to warping rotors (which ill do myself) along with brake flush and PS flush. But now that im a memebr ill be on here more often to take advantage of all ur great info as ive been getting form 300M Forums.
Any other pointers u guys have for me feel free.

try looking in the phone book or an internet search for biz
You will find a little effort on your part goes a long way here!
Plenty of info already written on most subjects
Everyone needs to register with acura in their country or ck VIN with dealer service dept. for this `newly issued` and growing list of VINs for the airbag inflator -
i think it goes too fast and can injure you worse than a regular airbag~

Welcome!
I did the same thing... When I first saw this forum, I thought it was the greatest thing ever... The DIY sections are awesome - Good luck with all the maintenance work. It can get very expensive very quickly.
May I suggest changing the cabin filter - The one I had from the previous own had leaves in it...

thanx for the welcome guys. ive already been hit with the "bug" for maintance, soon ill be hit with the "modbug"
one of the things i look fwd to is getting my friend Mike (OntarioTL) to do the LED interior and cluster. also looking for the OEM spoiler and Lip kit. but for now This weeknd already switched to mobil1 w honda filter. changed air filter, shampood the engine. and 1x3 tranny fluid change.
Next is the spark plugs (NGK Iridium IX)
BTW the honda oil filter is so small. it first i thought Honda gave me the wrong filter as my buddy and I with a 2004 Accord V6 picked up the filters together. it didnt look like it was going to sit flush on the filter seat. anyone have the Oem Part number?
