Neons tied into auto dim feature
Well, I would guess you could just splice into the dimmer switch and it will controll the dash and the neon together.
Or you could hook it up to the door lights so the neon is on when the door is open (or you manually turn the lights on) and off when the door is closed.
As for the exact wiring schematics... can't help you there. I would guess anyone with electrical knowledge could tell you have to splice it up. Otherwise you can pick up the HELMs manual for our car (if it's out yet) which should have all of the wiring diagrams....

I just found out that you cant dim a neon. they run off of a power supply that makes AC for the tube. it is usually 1000's of volts for most neon tubes. if you try to use a dimmer it will only turn off compleatly when the voltage of the dome light drops below the minimum the power supply will work from.
Nice suggestion though!
