If you're going to put neon light in the grille, I think it's better to switch out. If you wired it into your Headlight power, how are you going to turn it off when there's a cop right in front of you???

Sup guys,
I have a blue neon tube attached to the bottom part of my bumper grille and right behind the Temperature sensor. At night the light glows even to my TL-S front grille and gives it a indiglo feel to it. I had relayed a switch and located the switch right on the steering column. I'm pretty sure it's illegal in every state. You just have to find a flat surface to mount the neon tube. If ur lazy you can run the wires into the cabin compartment and then make a on/off switch and use it in the cigarette lighter. It looks ghetto but it works. Hope this info helps. Laters.
