Needing Help
tried again after car sat awhile.. i even measured the voltage (a little over 12v) after grounding and connecting power to make sure i had something and still nothing on either fan
back to square one i guess also, i'm not getting any response from the relays when i'm putting them back in.
and when checking voltage at the plugs on top the fans, i'm not getting anything there either

and then the relay not responding, was the car on in the run position with the A/C on???, btw i was putting speakers in my car, and turned on the car for the radio (but not started), and the a/c is on auto, so i know the fans do indeed turn on
then sounds like both fans may be shot, idk

so what you need to do now, is check the available voltage at the fans themselves (the plugs sitting on the fan themselves), with the car on and such
and btw does that clicking sound seem to be from the front of the engine bay, like from the actual fan themselves???
iirc, that actually might be heavy gauge then even the stock wiring, so not a problem, especially if just for testing purposes (but you put that in the engine bay permanently, and it may not last the test of time with oil and such, which is what mainly separates different wiring)

When i first heard the clicking sound, it sounded like it came from the relay terminal, then i tried it again and i heard just one click which sounded like it came from the fans direction. Hand slipped after that, didn't hear any sound at all and thats when i noticed no resposne from putting the relays in
tried testing the voltage at the connectors yesterday but i didn't have the car actually on, so if thats the case i'll give it a try in the morning.

i knew i was noticing less mpg but today started shifting hard and slipping gears like crazy...and then CE, TCS, and blinking D5 all came on
, now light yet (but it was on like almost 15k ago though, turned it off, and has not been back on
), but yeah i know it will turn back on eventually though
