Ok. I just finished the footwell lighting mod from here. It turns on when I open the door and unlock with the remote. But how can I wire it so that I can turn it on while I drive. I thought that by turning on the dome light it would also turn on the footwell lights, but it doesnt. Any help is appreciated.

 

The easiest way is to connect your power source from the ACC line. So when you turn on your car the light will turn on. You can tap the power from the fuse box on the driver side that say ACC. Just go to auto store and get a mini fuse tap.
