Need Somes Help On Buying TB spacer 2002 TYPE-S

I have been talking to Outlaw Engineering and this was the last email:

Darrell,

If you just need the throttle body spacer, just send a PayPal payment to our account
'sales@outlawengineering.com' for $39 ($35 + $4 shipping). Include a note stating what the payment is for. I
will send a TB spacer that should fit your 2002 Type-S, but be aware that I am not certain thet the bore will be
axactly correct. You may need to open it up a bit using a Dremel or similar rotary tool.

Best regards,
Sean Morgan

So you're telling me you want an English major to create your TB spacer?

if you have a dremmel then it's a deal for $40. Just don't expect anything amazing out of it. i'm sure you know that the 'tornado' and 'vortex' don't really do much seeing as your valves do quite an effective job of pulsing the air around (i'm honestly not sure if this is what outlaw engineering's product claims). of course there *is* truth to the fact the spacer will reduce heat soak. so enjoy!

The do not have an application for the TypeS engine. The guys on the CL board have asked numerous times. Unless you are willing to reshape the opening, do not buy it.

Get the Accord V6 (VTEC) TB Tower from Helix, then take it to a machine shop and have them bore it out, I had the machine shop create new swirls, in order to mantain the orignal design. The external piece that faces the air intake was left alone.

You will know what I mean, once you have it in hand. I wanted to take pictures of the bored out spacer, but never got around to it... Hope this helps!

You can't be serious. The Japanese nor the Germans speak "proper" Engrish.

More punch, better throttle response, I did Denso IK20's and a custom ground wire kit all at the same time, and I could feel the car much more responsive. My personal opinion.

this is the latest repley from Outlaw Engineering .

Darrell,

The TB bore on your Type S may be slightly larger, so the spacer will need to be made a bit larger to fit. I will send you gakets and hardware.

However, from the sounds of it, you may not be completely comfortable working under the hood. Please keep in mind that this is a spacer that will probably need some modification to fit. If you feel uncertain at all, I would suggest you wait until we come out with a kit specifically for your model.

Best regards,
Sean Morgan
