Need Quick Help!

Hey guys. If I'm taking out my stock suspension but leaving it together, do I need to use a spring compressor? Someone with knowledge please text me the answer, 3035493973 is my number. Thank you all very much.

Any one have any tips for removing a nut that is stripping as I try and remove it?

Edit: Anyone local to the DTC if you're able to help out with the install tomorrow let me know, I can pay you for your time.

I'm having trouble with two, one being the inner-most 14mm nut on the front suspension, and the other being the rear 14mm nut on the rear suspension.

for your original question
When removing the shock assembly from the car- it stays together , no use of spring compressor required

Only if you are taking them apart to replace the shock or spring, or move parts like the tophat- to a new shock assembly-
Working on the bench/ground, then you need to deal with the spring tension
Never try to remove that top nut on the shock shaft without comnpressing the spring!!!!
At minimum, its a trip to the dentist for new front teeth- or maybe the ER for chest-rib injuries

Any stuck nuts should be treated with wd type spray- cooking oil if thats all you have~
Make sure you are turning it the right way, ie leftie loosey, use a longer bar to get leverage
