NEED OPINIONS PLS! I used...

Hey all..

Ok so far this is what I am doing... tell me what u think

I did the corners with matched silver paint sticker...
it now the corners look cleared or it's part of the paint..

Next I want to do is make painted door handle stickers..
do u think that'll look good?

after that I was thinking of making eye lids with it..
This will be hard...I still don't know what shape I will make the eyelids into...any suggestions?

any input is fine
and I will post pics up asap for all

Agreed, no on the door handles. The tape will peel off the first time you grab the door to open it. If you really want them color matched, have a body shop paint them really well.

hmm..painted..but our door panel r chrome.. :I
would paint work??
and how much is the job?

these sticker patches are made for car exteriors..so it should be strong to withstand rubs...touches..grabs...whatever..

should I give it a try?

when you get your bumper fixed, if you didn't already, ask the shop to see how much painting your chromed handles will be..you can't beat a professional job! my bro doesn't like the chromed handles either...i do though.

as for lids, i think you should start at the lower inner tip of the headlight...then slowly work up (but make this section fairly narrow) and over till you reach the fender (make this section as thick as the fender line ends). i think this looks best than just having a strip at the top of the lights...there is no existing line on the grill that you could work off to make it look good.

sorta like this...see how the hood meets the bumper so having the brow start here makes the lines flow?

those look nice...

as for handles...I don't know if i want the colored handles permanent..
I just want to see how it looks for sometime..then when it's set...just make a final decision.

Hey stan...should I also get the front right passenger side a little bump fixed at marco's?

I say you paint the handles....instead of using the sticker...due to the fact that the handle is very curvy, it'll be hard to make it stick good....or better yet perfect. Just stick it on and see if you like it..then get it painted when you fix your rear bumper....I personally would like it painted ....

The chrome handle is just chrome paint....it's actually plastic..i think. Well...the way to paint is just like any other part...sand it down....prim..paint....flex agent...

what happened there? if you can hook it up to fix the rear and front at the same time, then do it! the car is going to be there anyways.

if you are not sure about the painted handles, then go ahead with the spray. i don't think it's a problem for the shop to paint your chromed plastic handles.
