Need a new ballast?
So my mechanic just told me I need a new ballast for my driver side headlight. I have the stock ones as far as I know (got the car used). So where can I get a cheap but reliable ballast?
Thanks a lot!

the easy way is thru www.hidextra.com $59 for 2 new waterproof ballast 2 ignitor/connector wire from ballast to bulb and 2 good quality bulbs
suggest 5000k for best seeing the road with
there is a 10% coupon on ther website and several others found thru simple online search
call them and mention acurazine.com as who sent you
Always replace bulbs in pairs, and with our well known prob of moisture in lens killing ballast,,do all parts on both sides and be done with it

i ordered from hidextra 2 weeks ago because ive had this same problem. not really impressed. had some difficulties. passenger bulb doesnt ignite right away and if you turn them off and the right back on it comes on. i have a good ballast and igniter for sale.

give the new bulbs time to burn in., mine was funny at first
drive with them on all the time--get 50 hours+ to establish brightness and color
If it continues, call them for a replacement ignitor wire
did you use a ground wire from ballast to frame?
