driver side airbag recall
sounds like they increased the VIN list if you just got notified
this recall started a year or 2 ago
anyone can ck their vin on your online account www.owners.acura.com
or 1 800 382 2238x5
or any dealer service desk can punch in the VIN
Its totally free,,the actual work isnt much but only a few techs may be allowed to do it- have to schedule jobs into their day
Best to make an appointmnt for tues-wed or thurs, ask if loaner car may be available
go enjoy a brand new toy for a day
service dept appreciates you NOT waiting around!
happy to give you a ride anywhere nearby-work home movie,,,and pick you up
Its a very important recall- airbag inflates too fast and damages the driver
they install a new control module- not the bag itself

hahahahaha as if acura were that good,,reminder notices
no it means the system didnt register you as completed/fixed
or they added VINs to the list,,it happens...a lot
iirc this one had 3 increases in the first 6 months as more cars were found to have the same module
Web-you may have another recall outstanding !
call dealer service or go in person- talk to a real service writer or better the manager
not just the appointment girl who fills spaces in a book
Ask the real person in service WHEN they want your car--day of the week- time- loaner car??.. and they will ck if any other recalls need to be done,,may have to order parts...

Called my Acura dealership and they said that it would take about an hour and 15 minutes to replace. Depending on the serial number, they would replace either the module or the inflator. AND they wont give me a temporary replacement car. damn.
I was really looking forward to driving a new Acura around. haha

are you under 25 or they dont have many loaner cars?
did you mention having to Wait on the premises?
definetly get it set up ahead of time if they need to order a part
can always go to the sales manager and tell them your baby is in the shop and you have been thinking of upgrading to newer gen/model,,,
often they can put you in a `demo car` for a few hours- no sweat
