Need a little more HP...
Hey, guys. My TL is a 1999 model, and I have already installed the CIA, Comptech Headers, and Mugen exhaust (soon). I am running the quarter in about 15.3 @ 95.3 mph and 0-60 in about 6.9 (these times were run with Comptech exhaust and with a GTech Pro).
My question is this. I would like to break in to the 14's (14.8-14.9) in the quarter. What more can I do performance-wise to get a little more HP?

i'm not sure whether you want to wait, but Acura is developing a turbo for the TL soon. that would be the easiest and if you have it installed by them it foesn't void the factory warranty. other than that, bored and polished intake manifold and high-flow catalytic converters. that is all i would recommend. wait, one more though, wieght reduction. doesn't sound like much, but take out the back seats and the spare tire when you try to race, you will notice some difference.

Where did you hear that Acura is making a turbo?
For additional HP you can also add a fuel pressure regulator and an Apexi VAFC to fine tune your air/fuel ratio for additional hp.

well...you could get larger fuel injectors, lighter rims, and take out the spear tire , i also think you would get a better start if you had better suspension (if dont already do) cas you would have less weight shifted to the back...
