Need a little help removing the bumper...

Hey everyone,

Well I had some free time today so I figured I'd finally get around to taking off the resonator on my 02 TL-P. After grabbing the DIY, I tried just to get the top plastic mask off, unfortunately its holding on to the grill, which seems to be holding on to the bumper itself.

I didn't want to force it off, and considering the DIY was with an 01, I'm stuck.

WTF bro...

ill make your life easier...first, pop the hood...that separates the grill from the mask and the bumper...then take out all the black pins with a flat screw driver (twisting action and try not to break them). There are 8 on the top, and around 6 or 8 on the bottom. The top plastic mask should come right off, its completely separate and not clipped or anything to the bumper.

After the pins are out, there are 2 screws (on the top where the bumper meets with the weel den area) and 2 nuts (almost under the screws, that hooks the bumper to that plastic cover under the bumper.

Then, just pull out carefully and evenly on both sides. If you need more help pm me.

peace.

etxxz.

Thanks for the help. It took a half hour more, but all is good and the resonator removed.

The hardest part was trying to hold the bumper with one hand and disconnect and reconnect the both of the fog lights. :op
