Does anyone know how much acura charges for a replacement key? My friend told me it was $100. I hope he's wrong...I will also need a new Key FOB, will the 2002 work for the 2001 TL?

Brunswick Acura charges $16 for the key, and $44 for the remote

I called another dealer when I needed one about a month ago and the prices were about the same

I thought the key costs around 75 dollars to be programmed and all. Guess I'm wrong?

 

Last time I checked, the new key fob doesn't work with the 99/00/01 TL.

We charge $25.00 for the key including programming and $43.90 for the fob. Just make sure you have all the remotes with you, because they all have to programmed together. You only need 1 other key to program the key.
