please help... i have a 99 tl and i just bought some red-clear tl tail lights and i was wondering if anybody could help me with installing them. i took
a look at it but the carpet covers the back panel in the trunk where the tail lights are. i want to do it right so that the carpet does not get messed up when i finish. anyone who's done it before, i would appreciate your help.

there are dozens of posts about this..

baisically, peel back the carpet lining, and use a 8mm rachet to remove the lenses.. unplug the harness, and then put everything back..

do the passenger side one first..
