Firestone SP50 (?) It will be very hard to get 40k out of a high performance tire, unless you drive like a snail...

Try this link to Tire Rack. I have a set of Continental ExtremeContactSports, they are awesome. The Michelin Pilot Sport A/S are more $$ but are worth the expense.

Those are my choices

Good luck

I have the Conti's and I think they are worth every cent!! I heard good things about the HTR's and Micheline Pilot Sports, but the Michelins are double the price, so I rule that out as an option unless you like them that much. Between the HTR's and Conti's I picked the Conti's you will love the aggressive tread pattern, and also wet/dry traction you get with these tires. It virtually eliminates the VSA light from comming on all the time when you accelerate over some bumps/patch work on the road.

In any case, going with either HTR or Contis, you absolutely can not go wrong. And also tire rack isn't always the best price, since not only do you ahve to pay shipping but now you gotta take it in and pay for mounting and balancing. Shop around, like I did and I got the contis' for myself and bxscig for 99 a tire mounted and balance. Came out cheaper then getting it from Tire Rack.. just some advice.
