Need Help finding a 12 volt power lead

I am installing a hands free kit for my phone and need to tap into a 12 volt power lead. I am hoping to do this without going directly to the battery.

Here is what I need help with:

Find a 12 volt power lead somewhere under the driver side dash to tap into. I know I could go to the stereo, but it's a pain to take it all out for just one wire.

If anyone knows a good place to find this, I would greatly appreciate it.

Thanks.

Sal

Ya, it's easy the fuse box is right there!!
decide what power you want, and enjoy.... there is a bunch of choices there... you will have to find one that is on while the key is turned all the way. I tapped on to one there for the relay for my stereo...... Hoped that helped.

Smile Duh, didn't think about the fuse box.

Thanks a lot...I should've thought of that. I have a tester, so I'll test the voltage to see which one is on while the key is in.

Thanks for the quick answer. This forum and the people here are awesome!!!

Smile Finished install of Nextel Hands Free kit!!!

I finished the install. Was able to get a constant 12V power lead near the fuse box, as well as a remote lead (accessory). The kit works like a champ.

Thanks for the help.
