Need Help Asap!!!
Holy crap.... OK.... get my TL today, and I noticed that the CD player doesn't play certain burned CD's well. I searched the forum for topics, and decided to take the idea to try a bunch of different types of CDs. So, I took all the burned CD's I had, and tried the different brands. After the 2nd or 3rd one, I put one in, and it wouldn't load, so I hit eject, and it wont eject.... It makes a rediculously horrible noise, and says CD Err.... Somebody please tell me I dont need to make a trip to the dealer! I'm so upset.... my car has been perfect, and then this, on my first official day of TL ownership! What do I need to do?!?!
Thanx,
Ryan

Bring it to the dealer. This could happen if the blank CDs are too thick and got jammed inside the slot. This may sound nonsense, but if you compare some cheap brand blank CDs with brand name ones, the thickness is not always the same. Also if the CD is wraped, it might get jammed. I'm afraid you need to bring to dealer and crack it open to get the CD out. If you are brave enough, you can take your dash apart and do it yourself. But I was told to take the radio out the first one, he took one hr

Phew..... I got it fixed! Ahhh, one of my friends that lives next to me worked in Acura service for 3 years, and he fixed it for me, and it plays OK.... I was so freakin upset though, but I think I'm going to try some Memorex CD's, and see how that is. Thanks Tatewaki for responding so quickly!

I'm not sure, I think what I did, was because I was trying a bunch of different CD's, I put one in too soon after I took it out, and it jammed, he just pushed on the CD, to put it in place, which it did, and then ejected it.

I have used Memorex & TDK in my CL & TL w/o any problems (knock on fake wood).

You need to burn your CD's at a lower speed. Some new burners are up to 32X and just does not do a good enough job for some CD players to pick up.
BTW - Although I can go very much faster, I burn all my CD's at 2X. I have never had any problems playing my CDs, even in systems that are 7-10 years old.
