any recommendations? i've never seen any cleaner that cleans both...u gotta 1 for the wheel and 1 for the rim. but i guess u could use a rim cleaner to clean the wheels rite? but i'm just afraid if that type of cleaner would damage the wheels...

A rim and a wheel is the same thing. I think you mean tires and wheels. Clean your wheels with any cleaner where the label says Safe for all wheels, or Clearcoat safe. Usually you can just use a sponge or wash mitt. Do not blast the wheels with cold water if you just got home and the brakes and wheels are hot. Let them cool. Wash your tires any way you want and when dry use tire shine. You can also wax your wheels to protect the shine.

use semen. that's what i use for my rims..it takes me a few minutes to squirt it out and use it while its warm! i use my own so its free! just get 100% cotton towels!

for the wheels n tires i just use dawn or simple green diluted with water......a brush for the tires n towel for the wheels....a few times a year i take the whole wheel off and clean the inside and outside ... wheels cleaners work good too...but i dont think there worth the money or do a better job.
