Navigation Hack MOD HELP

I searched and searched through about 40 pages of different websites and on this site and couldnt find a quick and easy answer. Has anyone done the background & Nag screen mod on their 03' TLS? If so which directions and program did you follow? THanks alot. I plan on doing this tonight.

I once looked for this information also but I never found anything. There's a lot of information for doing this with the 3rd generation TL navigation system.

It would also be great to find a way to bypass the safety agreement "OK" step needed every time the the car is started.

At least we can type things in while driving. The Lexus OEM navi requires you to be stopped

Yeah seriously. My perfect nav mode would be NO nag screen, and just have it boot up and go straight to the map mode.

And yes I'm very glad that we can type while driving. Its an awesome perk!

Sucks that there's no navi hack. Now that my 2000 TL-Navi has an '06 G35-Navi to keep it company, I can really appreciate the ability to program while in motion. PISSES ME OFF when I start to enter an addy in the G, and the screen grays out. AARRGGH!

I'm just glad I have NAVI! The screen is annoying, but I can certainly deal with it. Most of the time I turn mine off unless I am going in unfamiliar territory. I figure the less I use it when not needed, the longer my screen will last..

buddy of mine has an escalade and danm his navi is so annoying you have to be moving 5 miles or less to type anything and its not touch screen..... i love the option of being able to type and drive if its me or the passenger.......

and if anyone one figures out a way to get rid of the nag screen that would be so cool..

and i also read the nav hacks for the 3g there is one hack they might work for our 2g tl's and what it does it give a negitive impulse for 30 sec after the car is started to the joystick it pushes the button for you in a way.
