NAVI screen /DVD

I heard a rumor that you can play DVDs through our existing NAVI screens. Now that sounds cool and I would like to know if anyone has done it yet. Or if it is possible. The NAVI screen seems so low res. I don't think it could handle DVD res.
What do you guys know?

Wow,

When was last time I thought about Video on my NAV???

Do a Search on Video Nav, or something like that. I am sure you'll get lots of info. There are lots of members have done this mod. Good Luck!!

The man posed a good question though...we all know that you can play DVD's on the Navi via the proper equipment(Pioneer RGB...), but how is the res on the screen. Are the DVD's clear?

What's up Songoku, hey got a question for you.....once the video decoder is plugged and running with the NAVI screen, will the NAVI system still display and work for navigation purposes?

By the way do you have a pic of your ride that you can post?
I would like to see what the Inspire parts look like on the newer TLs....I checked the valuetl website....I don't think they have inspire parts for my '03....Most looked like parts for the 98-99 models.....

YES! Just flip a switch to change from watching DVDs to a regular navi screen. Even if the DVD is still playing, you can flip the switch and use the navi screen too.

BTW, I have it on my car just in case you haven't figured it out yet. And the resolution is GREAT!
