Navi Screen

So I take my 03 TL to get the navigation unit in the trunk replaced because at times it would not turn on. When I got my car back from the dealership, I noticed a 2 inch scratch on the navigation screen. I know for a fact that I did not make that scratch. I complained to the service guy and he tells me to call back on monday to discuss this with the service manager. What would you guys do in this kind of situation? Also, when I told the service guy that there was a scratch, he gave me a look like I was bull****ting him... go figure. Anyways, help will be nice before I call the manager tomorrow.

just stay calm and state the facts. that is all you should need to do. If they do not address it properly, follow up with a letter to the dealership and acura. also, call the acura customer service group to get a case number.

The tech may have used some tool or had some grit on his hands when he was testing the new unit by using the screen. Or he may have tried to wipe something off using his dirty hands. It's completely possible the tech did it.
