Hi all. I got in my 2003 TL-S this morning and had to type the code into the navi for it to run. I have not disconnected the battery or done anything to the car since last night. The car itself started right up and the radio worked fine without having to enter it's code. I put the code into the navi and it works fine. Shut off the car and restarted, navi still works fine.

Anyone have any idea why the navi would have reset like that?

 

Its been so long ago now & I forgot why.
But I had the same problem with my 2000TL almost 3years old now happen. The Navi asked for the PIN# once when I first got the got. I had the car then for a few months & it never had asked for the PIN# I entered the PIN# that time but it has never done it again since. I do remember other people at that time having the same strange thing happen.

It's happened 3 times to me. I don't know why. I have never disconnected my battery either. The radio doesn't ask, only the navi does. Weird.

 

Thanks for the replies. I guess its not just me then. I called the dealer and they were equally clueless. It hasn't happened again since yesterday so I guess I just blow it off until it happens again.
