GS Conversion Pic Complete

Well some of you may remeber the guy putting the GS light on his TL. Click HERE to see it when it first started. Well it is finished and here are some pics. Sorry for the crappy quality, they are not mine. It is not as bad as I thought, just will take some getting used too. But good work on making it look stock.

He said this:
"yeah that is my car....its not chopped........and my headlgjhts got jacked so i figured i might as well do something diffrent with the insuanrce money.....the front body lines of the TL adn GS are very similar so i picked the GS...."

Also to the guy that said about the Q45.. I saw a Car with that mod it looks so hott especially with those rotating motors and like all those bulbs its sweet.. Its ultra Bright.. I dont know how its legal.

the q45 lights went into a GS, but only those 7 lights. the gs lights remained the same.
by the way, i hate conversions to another brand of car, thats why i have a GS and TL-S, both are nice the way they are!
Although this conversion looks kinda cool, the grill really needes to be changed. He should try one of those RMM of Lsportline grilles.

i think its hot...i've been following this build-up for a while, and i definitely understand his reasoning. his headlights got jacked, and with the insurance money, while he was fixing the front end anyway, he decided to do a conversion. i definitely give him props for being different, and it looks clean too!

nice work...lose the "a" in the grill though. if a car ever needed complete debadging, this is it.

It doesn't look that bad... but it just doesn't look right on the TL. The TL's front is angular then the GS, which has a more rounded look to it.

Props on the conversion, came out clean... but it just doesn't look right. Should've just bought a GS.....

Well... based on the project, he did it! And he did a nice job.
But it's not a good idea though...
The car just doesn't look right.

A Lexus GS 3.2 Type R. You probably got Type-R badges. I wanna PUKE. :yack: :yack: :yack: :yack:

And they wonder why no one takes Acura seriously. Crap like this. Hell I've seen a Legend at Nopi with Lexus badges. But this is ridiculous. Why not put the angel eyes in the GS lights? Then you'd have a BMW GS 3.2 TYpe R 5 series.

Nobody puts no ACURA part(s) on no Lexus. No one puts a BMW front end on no Lexus. No one puts an AUDI rear-end on no Lexus. Why? Cause, THEY WOULD HAVE BOUGHT THE CAR.

:yack: :yack: :yack: Hey, I drive the new Acura GS 3.2!:yack:

No, if I don't like something, it does not mean I am hating, it means I don't like it. The CL-forum and Cl community agrees as well.

If you don't like it, Why don't you just say..Just not your cup of tea? Instead of going off and ranting and ranting. Besides..the CL people are a totally different crowd from us.

Read your reply again, and think it over.

From: Hampton VA,
Aren't GS owners replacing their headlights with 2002-03Q45 headlights? Now that would have been really nice looking! I don't think his TL looks bad it's just that the GS headlights are identified with the GS, so when you look at those on a TL it looks kind of odd because of the Narrower front end. I think the factory bodykit is needed now to really bring the look together.
