hey
my navi dosent seem to work anymore. everytime i have the car on and im driving it will reset itself every 5 minutes. i tried calling 2 acura dealerships and they both asked do u have a system and i do. so they said that the battery may be dying and dat the navi unit cant hold the memory so it resets. but my battery seems fine. they said its not under waranty so theyd have to charge for a dianogstic fee. what can be the problem???

Mike, have you tried to charge the battery (using a battery charger) and then disconnecting the system to see if the problem continues?

 

Also use the hidden menu, runs diags there, and use the reset option.

press and keep holding each key in sequence, first menu, second map, then last cancel. You then have the third key pressed for a few secs the menu pops up.

i just resetted the unit. seems like its working for now. it hasnt resetted itself yet. well really see when i drive the car later. thanks man
