To Navi or not...

The two '03 TL's that I'm deciding between are a brand New WITH OUT navi, but with wood steering wheel, wood shifter and all weather mats Or a used with 6,00 miles and does have the Navi system. Either will be in the $26,500-27,000 range.

Is having the Navi, worth not having the other adds and the 6,300 miles?
Thanks for any advice!

I will go for the new car.
Or buy a used with out Navi.
With $3000, you can buy 30 handheld GPS unit or 750 map or a big screen TV.

If you drive local most of time, you don't need navigation. If you frequently go out of town to unfamiliar places, then you should get it. Go for the new car.

You obviously don't have the Navi in your car ..... I'd say go with the Navi ( not only cause I have it) because it is very help. even in situations where you think you already know where you are you. Many of times has the navi guided me back on the right track after making a couple wrong turns.

I got my 03 tls without navi. But I would recommend navi if you have the option of buying it. See my below reasons for/against getting navi.

For:
That is a cool gadet to have for "just incase". It will also provide you a screen for which you can connect a camera to view your rear when you back up. Or connect your playstation 2, or even sing karaoke (I saw one guy did it). My co-worker is working on connecting his ipaq to the car and displaying it through the navi display screen. he plans on controlling c02 or something with his ipaq.

Against:
the main reason I didn't get a navi was because I already got one. I am a man. i don't ask for directions at gas stations, i sure ain't going to ask direction from a talking lcd screen. My Navi came built in in my head. That my friend is the best navi you can get.

Whether or not to get the Navi is one of the most frequently asked questions around here. Bottom line: those who have it will tell you it was worth every penny. Treat yourself. Your car w/Navi is still thousands less than other cars in this class.

GET THE NAVI.

Also, I don't know if I'll buy new cars again. Too much depreciation. An 03 with low miles ought to be a better deal in my opinion.

I made the mistake of not buying my 2002 TL with a navi. I didn't make the same error when I upgraded to the 2004. I travel enough that I actually use it.

Don't you make the same mistake. Find a NEW 03 with a navi if at all possible, if not, go for the used with the navi.
