get an Alpine aftermarket one

you can keep the factory head unit too

see the movie clip of the screen opening here:

Att. Tim.....

I've seen your motorized screen movie so many times and I didn't realize until now...that if you open the screen then how can you be able to use A/C???? I've just noticed that.... Just my thought.

I have a very similar setup like Tim's, just a different monitor i believe. Mine is placed lower then his but it still blocks the A/C controls. You either set it before you flip the monitor up or there is a button where you can push to adjust the tilt angle so that you can slide your fingers behind the monitor to access the A/C controls. I hardly if ever touch it unless its raining. Or, you can close it, adjust your A/C settings, then pop out the monitor again. But this setup is costly, the navigation itself cost $2000 without the monitor! Not to mention labor cost, etc This is the price I paid for not getting Navi in the first place. Then again, with my setup I can add many toys!
