Maybe its just me but when I buy a car... i get it cuz I like it and cuz there aren't a lot around....
when I was 16... I bought my TBird, ok I know, its a FORD POS and not the greatest, but no one in my town had one and it was nice....
now theres tons... I was going to get a Maxima, all of a sudden there's tons. Still no solaras
today, OMG, I saw at least 15 TL's between Springville, Hamburg, Boston, & Orchard Park... usually I see 0. LoL
oh well i still want one

 

when u want something, or have something and it means a lot 2 u,, then, u will begin notice that every other car(in this case) is tl. it's normal. GO get it and enjoy the ride.

 

Slick is right. Take any car (it could be a shitty ass pontiac sunfire for all I care) Look for them for a week, and you will see there are tons. Everything is out there, you just aren't or weren't looking for it.

Acura TL's are very popular cars, but how many TL's do you see that have all the mods that our community in this forum have? Not very many, all I have seen are stock TL's. :;D

haha can't say the same from the 1st gen TL's no matter how hard i look there never is one to be seen. Even rarer are the fixed up 1st gen's. i've only seen one TL in Berkeley or East Bay area that's fixed up other than mine. It makes me beam with pride when mechanics come up and start asking me if it's a new car. and when i tell them it's an I5, boy do they go crazy. i will always love my car, no matter how many there are on the road.

 

I saw one that looks like yours last week in NJ. Oh wait it had big headlights...

Acura must have sold over 100,000 TLs since the revamp in 1999 by now. It is easily their best selling model by far. Thousands of consumers can't be wrong. Go ahead get one you'll be happy.
