so i have finally come to the decision that my tranny is shot to all hell and i cant keep driving around with it. problem is i need my car everyday and i dont have time to take it to the dealer. does anybody know of a acura dealer close to PG county in MD that will pick up my car and drop it off to me when its done?!

Tisher, is the closest to you. I don't know if they will pick it up and drop it off for you. They should give you a loaner without a problem for the replacement. Rosenthal is your next best bet. Good Luck.

Dude that sucks. I remember those days. How time flys. Just drop it off just make sure they order the tranny before hand that way it should take them a day or two at the most.

I believe it is different with a dealership rental car. I do not think you have to be 25 as you have to be to rent from enterprise, etc. I am 19 and have driven a loaner car from a dealership when they were working on my car.

All you need is proof of insurance. It doesn't really matter how old you are. Tell your dealership that you need a loaner car and present your insurance card.

I second Rosenthal. I've had nothing but good experiences with them. They've never asked my age specificially, but they do ask for your DL and a Credit Card.
