If your tranny does fail, it's covered by Acura.

hey, i got my tranny replaced too, but i bought it at 116kmiles and I replaced it at 136kmiles, so I hope I was the first one to replace it, now I have the second one, and it doesn't seem as strong as the first oh well, I'll probably get a tranny radiator or something,

You have a 99? If so, you're not covered by the extended warranty.

The 99TLs not covered if over 50k, unless you bought extended warranty, then you dont have to worry...by the way, im confused, what exacly is the "tranny"?

99 is definintely covered. I had mine replaced around a month ago. Only sign I had was that the engine malfunction & TCS lights came on. Trans still seemed to be running fine but thats what the computer told them to replace.

etxxz,

The "Tranny" is short for transmission... TLs are notorious for bad transmissions if you were not aware. And the fix is to replace the entire component, not just a fluid change. Do some searching in the forums and you may pick up quite a bit of info....
